Yamaha Oil Tank Cracks

Has anybody had problems with the external oil tank on the Nytro. I'm on my second one, having replaced a leaky one last year and now a crack has developed in the lower right corner. Yamaha says its from aggressive driving, yeah right! So what should I do, have my Grandmother drive my sled. I've read other stuff on installing rubber shocks on the oil tank, any hints on this? Customer Service has given me run around and legalese-any help there or contact people in Yamaha would be helpful.

Rubber shocks would indeed be a good solution to this, but finding one of good quality would be quite a challenge. If anyone could provide a link to someone who provides one, it would be a great help.
