Ski-Doo Mini Z
Control and Suitable Power Sure to Attract Novice Riders
Story by Snowmobile.com Staff, Oct 11, 2007
Ski-Doo’s foray into the youth market begins with the Mini Z.
The 120cc, 4stroke engine should provide enough power to keep a young rider interested, while the 154-pound (dry weight) allows the sled to be easily controlled.
Up front is an independent A-arm suspension with three inches of travel, while the back provides six inches of travel.
To keep the beginner safe, the Mini Z comes equipped with a tether cord and controlled speed.
The sled comes in classic Ski-Doo yellow and uses the Mini Rev platform. The windshield is low-profile for a sporty look and the seat is designed for smaller riders.
The track is 10 inches wide and 69 inches long with a lug height of .63 inches. The tank holds one gallon of fuel.
