Sledders will be in attendance to gently encourage Willie into predicting six more weeks of winter and, more importantly, snowmobiling.
Snowmobilers who ‘Ride the Willie’ will be treated to:
• VIP onsite snowmobile parking
• Free pancake breakfast (1st 1500)
• Live Entertainment
• Pork BBQ Lunch
• New Product Displays

Riders will also compete for the ‘Willie Cup.’ The snowmobile club that ‘Rides the Willie’ with the most riders will take home the coveted, Bobbi Switzer chainsaw carved ‘Willie Cup’ to display for the entire year in their clubhouse.
“Snowmobilers everywhere are encouraged to take the day off or call in sick, and jump on their sleds and ride to Wiarton to help us celebrate Winter with Willie,” says Rick Collins, president of the Wiarton Trailblazers. “We will groom and sign the trail right to Bluewater Park in Wiarton and put out the white furry welcome mat for all those that ‘Ride the Willie.’
Powersports Live Snowmobile TV will be onsite in the morning to capture the event and record snowmobiler’s shout outs to Willie.
Riders are encouraged to be onsite by 8:00 am for the prediction ceremony at 8:07 am. Events are organized throughout the day for those traveling from great distances. Accommodations are available for those wanting to ride up the night before RideGreyBruce.com.
This is an international snowmobile event designed to unite riders from across Grey Bruce, Ontario, Canada and the United States.
