My Review, after putting 3,000 Kms on this particular sled



Ride & Handling and power are very good. Wether you are riding solo or with 2 persons.

Suspension is easily adjustable (if you carry a real set of tools)

Extra fuel tank on board, works very well. However, it being placed inside ...the storage compartment at the rear, renders the compartment useless for storage due to gas fumes & accidental spillage inside that area.
The rear storage area is not very suitable for carring personal luggage as it continually fills up with snow. (Not very well sealed)
The side saddle bags offer a large amount of storage, however they're poorly constructed, difficult to close securely & awkward to put on & off the sled & feel very fragile at cold temps.
Certain items that a rider can expect to come across & fix from time to time would be simple things like replacing a fuse or a drive belt.
Here's where I've lost complete appreciation for arctic cats engineers........
Inorder to replace a simple fuse. IE Hand warmer/heated helmet hookup (fuse blew twice) , you've got to remove the complete hood assembly via 6 torque screws (of which all 6 are not the same). Once you managed to remove & not loose these screws. You can remove the hood which includes the headlight, Guage cluster , windshield,etc.... On a scale of 1-10, I rate myself around 8.5 when it comes to be mechanically inclined.
Nothing lines up very easily at all, as well trying to re & re 2 of the screws which are convienently located directly above the upper A-arms (joke) it only took an hour to replace a simple fuse!!!!!
(By the way, I did it twice indoors). I couldn't imagine having to do it outdoors at minus whatever & in the snow.........
The dealer will tell you it's a 10 minute job........ I'd like to see them do it outdoors & with the supplied tools......
The drive belt is a completely other story........ You got to remove a 12 mm bolt (no tool supplied) and partially disassemble the secondary clutch!!! Try that, after blowing a belt crossing a lake @ 4:30 pm on your way back, with dropping temps and the wind picking up.....Good luck!!!!!!!
Thankfully I haven't had to change it yet.....
I've had to have the complete wiring harness replaced after the first 300 Kms due to electrical problems.......
Long story short, a very poor service level from both the dealership as well as artic cat head office, left me very very dissatisfied.
In conclusion if I had known some of these things prior to spending $17,000 I'd NEVER do it again!!!!!!
I'm tying to like this particular machine (because I'll loose my shirt trying to sell it this early)
As soon as the opertunity allows it, I'll part with this machine & never ever buy an Artic Cat product again!!!!!
I'd have too rate this particular machine a 1.5 out of 5.
P.S. I've sledded for over 30 years and have never come across a bigger disappointment. $$$$$ vs Quality.
