2015 Arctic Cat Bearcat® 2000 XTE

2014 570 Bearcat

I bought this in January 2015. It was a great buy so I couldn't pass it up. Overall it's a great machine. I mainly bought it for the family, (easily carries around three people, two adults and one 6 year old kid). About 340 pounds for all three of us.



Power- the sled seems to be a little under po...werd when loaded down. In my eyes, the 570 fan cooled wasn't a good choice for this large sled. It should have the new 500 C-Tec liquid cooled engine. This size of machine should have between 80-110 horsepower. Plenty of power while loaded down and plenty of power when out for a solo ride.
The 570 engine is great though and it still pulls the machine around, but it just needs a little more power, in my eyes.

Fuel Mileage- about 7-12 miles to the gallon. The 17 gallon tank is great on this sled. The low miles to the gallon is mainly to do with the size of the motor (roughly 65 horsepower), compared to the size of the sled.

Reliability- so far so good. I only have about 700 miles on it but it has been working great. The 570 has a good name for being reliable.

It's also a very comfortable sled, even for the passengers. I have the suspension springs on the second setting. Good setting for the three of us. One thing that would be nice is passanger heated handles!!

It's a fun, great sled for you and the family I think. It's a utility machine and it serves it's purpose perfectly!! Firewood, ice fishing and breaking trails. It just can't be looked at as a high powerd touring sled.
