Overall Impression : This generally level trail is rich in history, passing near thirteen recorded prehistoric sites. Originally the home of Ojibwe and Dakota natives, the region has a long logging and railroad history.

Condition on day of Ride :

Trail Feature : This trail is primarily located on a former Burlington Northern Railroad grade. 75 miles of is paved while 35 miles are over undeveloped terrain with variable surfaces from sand to railroad ballast.
