Schultz wins Pro Open in Minnesota
Simons picks up fourth win in Pro Super Stock

The World Powersports Association (WPSA) Minnesota Series returned to action on the final weekend of 2007 in Brainerd, Minn.
Mike Schultz rode his Polaris to victory in the Pro Open final, followed by Andrew Johnstad, Polaris, in second. Both Schultz and Johnstad won all three of their qualifying races. Carl Schubitzke completed the podium with his third-place finish, followed by fellow Arctic Cat riders Ryan Simons and Matthew Piche.
Simons earned his fourth pro WPSA Minnesota win of the season in Pro Super Stock. Schultz crossed the finish line in second, while Schubitzke was third. Piche finished fourth and Ski-Doo rider Paul Bauerly was fifth.
Dan Ebert, Arctic Cat, won all three of his qualifying rounds and the final in Semi-Pro Open. Matt Bristow, Polaris, was second and Ben Espeseth, Arctic Cat, was third.
Bristow won top honors in the Semi Pro Super Stock final, besting Justin Stick, Ski-Doo, and Kyle Pallin, Ski-Doo.
Nichole Lackore, Polaris, won the Sport Women final, finishing ahead of Brittany Anderson, Arctic Cat, and Katie Baxter, Arctic Cat.
Price sweeps pro classes in Michigan
J.P. Price led Ski-Doo to a very good weekend in the WPSA Michigan Series at the Ostego County Fairgrounds in Gaylord, Mich. Price cruised to victory in both the Pro Open and Pro Super Stock events.
After struggling in this three qualifying races, Price managed to beat Arctic Cat rider James Hicks in Pro Open. Joshua Zelinski, Trevor Burroughs and Terry Kelly II, all riding Ski-Doos, were third, fourth and fifth.
It was all Ski-Doo in Pro Super Stock as Price, Zelinski and Kelly finished 1, 2 and 3. Hicks managed to ride his Arctic Cat to fourth, while Burroughs was fifth.
In semi-pro action, Tyler Thomas, Ski-Doo, won Semi-Pro Open. Adam Fettiq, Polaris, and Daniel Dolecki, Ski-Doo, completed the podium.
Dolecki took top spot in Semi-Pro Super Stock, while Thomas and Fettiq were second and third.
The top five drivers rode Ski-Doos in the Sport Women final. Samantha Tarnowski took home the top prize, followed by Sara Roberts and Kirsi Heikkinen.
