The BRP Ski-Doo X-Team  put on a show at the World Championship Hillclimb in Jackson Hole, Wyo. with its Summit model snowmobiles by taking 11 wins at the four day event (Mar. 25-28).

Luke Rainey who had a monumental weekend in taking three stock class wins (600, 700, and 800) plus the Stock King of the Hill title – the second straight year for a Ski-Doo racer. Rainey’s wins plus Tom Roby and Patrick Trujillo winning in Pro Master Stock and Semi-Pro Stock gave the Ski-Doo brand 5 out of 7 stock class wins.

Other wins included Carson Ellingford in 700 Mod, Tom Roby in 800 Improved, David Sharp in Pro Masters Improved and Brad Sharp in Pro Masters Mod.

X-Team racers swept the Semi-Pro ranks with Trujillo taking Stock and Mod wins while Dane Wilson took the Improved class and went on to claim Semi-Pro King of the Hill honors.

These wins were on Summit models powered by the Rotax 800R PowerT.E.K. – next year Ski-Doo snowmobiles will unleash the power of the E-TEC 800R in the 2011 Summit sleds. According to Ski-Doo, these engines run even crisper and cleaner, offering more horsepower, plus light throttle pull for easy control in and out of gates.
