Pull hard and hope for the best!
We take nothing away from the top snowmobile freestyle riders who regularly flip their sleds off of ramps, but it takes a special kind of person to try a backflip off of a completely natural jump. At least with a ramp, the rotation is relatively predictable. With a natural terrain jump, there is much more left to chance.
