The United States Air Force has returned as the official Armed Forces sponsor of the 2014-15 AMSOIL Championship Snocross series.

Beginning with the AMSOIL DOMINATOR race at the Nov. 28 season-opener in Duluth, Minn., and running seven more weekends throughout the winter months before culminating in March at Wisconsin’s famed Grand Geneva Resort, the U.S. Air Force will again engage snocross fans at each and every tour stop with hands-on activation generated to highlight the connection between the sport of snocross and Air Force’s platform of science, technology and engineering.

“You’d be hard-pressed to find a better sponsor/race series relationship than what AMSOIL Championship Snocross enjoys with the United States Air Force,” says Carl Schubitzke, President and Race Director of AMSOIL Championship Snocross. “The vast majority of our fan base is hands-on in the sport of snowmobiling. The kind of people you’d like to show up if your car was broken down on the side of the highway. Mechanically and technically-inclined and ready to help out at the drop of a hat.

“The AMSOIL Championship Snocross audience is exactly what the United States Air Force is looking to inspire.”

“Like Snocross, the Air Force uses teamwork, precision, technology and speed to accomplish its mission,” says Capt. Jacob Chisolm, AFRS National Events Branch chief. “We are looking forward to another exciting snocross season and having the opportunity to talk with competitors, teams and fans about the Air Force and available career opportunities.”
