    nude dragon
    By scott wheeler(Owner), Jan. 19, 2009
this sled is awsome i look behind rareley have any one behind me. the 600 class is the best for trail riding. i am a fairly aggresive rider. the only diffence is the shocks from the dragon if you cant pull start a performance sled why ride plus you have the choise of what you want the sled to look ...like. mine is racey it is stealthy got fly screen studs dragon hand gaurds. other riders seem intimedated i dont race dont need to there allways way behind some times when i ride slow get 18 year olds with more braun than brain. i let them go aheadi am very happy with the 120hp carbed got other things to ride in the NH area.90mph is fast for the trail i 250 64 less gas in tank better speed handlin great when you dont end up in some ones skis out of alinement trail great in the powder nice steady makes its own trail unlike alot of trail sleds. best 600 ever built
    By pat(Owner), Oct. 11, 2012
i bought my 2009 shift 600 new and from day one i found the carberated mill to be powerfull beyond any 600 i've ever rode, i have had an indy 650 and did drive a vmax 600 and neither compares, i have raced it on hard packed as the track being a .91 lug isn't that great for racing on snow unless its ...hard packed. i have gotton 84 miles per hour in 660 feet on a radar gun not the speedo and we clocked it at top speed of 108 mph on radar.
Handleing is another point this macine has, feels like a race car and you always in control. but i've rode a couple of the cleanfire injected ones and found the power wasn't quite the same even tho i'm told they have 125hp over 120hp carb engine, i have raced and beaten a few 600 dragons usually cause it is faster on the top end
