The World Powersports Association (WPSA) Minnesota Series opened up its season with the Andy Hammerlund Memorial at Park X in Hill City, Minn.

Tucker Hibbert, Arctic Cat, who won the Pro Open at last week’s WPSA national event in Duluth, Minn., was the top qualifier (1,1,2) heading into the final of this regional Pro Open. Hibbert, however, couldn’t complete the final.

Fellow Arctic-Cat rider Mathew Piche wound up taking the checkered flag, followed by Paul Bauerly, Ski-Doo, in second and Wesley Selby, Arctic Cat, in third.

Things went much better for Hibbert in the Pro Super Stock final. Hibbert was again solid in qualifying (5,1,1) and he took home the gold. Zach Pattyn, Ski-Doo, finished second, while Dan Ebert, Arctic Cat, was third.

All told, Arctic Cat riders took home four out of a possible six medals in the pro classes.
