Three-time world champion P.J. Wanderscheid will compete in a special one-off, pink DRIFT Authority jacket and pants racing outfit during the Eagle River Derby’s Friday Night Thunder race program to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness. After the event he will autograph and donate both items as auction items on behalf of the Pink Ribbon Riders.

Attempting to become the first-ever four-time champion at the World Championship Snowmobile Derby in Eagle River, Wis., Jan. 14 – 17, Wanderscheid will work with DRIFT to help raise awareness of breast cancer to help those affected by this widespread disease.

“P.J. is one of the highest-profile oval racers in the world,” said Jody McKay, Director, Pink Ribbon Riders. “By racing with and donating his pink DRIFT gear, he will send the message that help is available for people affected by breast cancer.”

An online auction for Wanderscheid’s distinctive pink DRIFT gear will be held from Jan. 22 through March 2 on PinkRibbonRiders.com. The proceeds will help fund support for breast cancer patients. Anyone can bid on this size-medium pink DRIFT gear.

“In the midst of his most important weekend of racing this season, when the pressure to succeed is matched only by the desire to win, P.J. The Pink Ribbon Riders mission is to promote awareness of breast cancer in the motor sports industry for both men and women while raising funds for those in need.
