2007 Arctic Cat F1000 EFI LXR

Absolutely awesome performance!!

I recently purchased a 2007 Arctic Cat F1000 EFI LXR snowmobile used with 4,000 miles on it. Within 2 weeks time I put over 400 miles on this sled, 260 of those miles being in just one day!! I can't speak highly enough of this sled. As are so many others, I was very undecided as to what sled to ge...t (this was my first "newer" sled since the 1980 Arctic Cat Jag 2000 that I have owned for over 15 years), and did tons of shopping around, reading of reviews, and finally settled on this sled. The 1000 cc's give this baby a TON of power, the speed is incredible (97 mph on a lightly groomed trail, not hardpacked), the throttle response is immediate without hesitation, and the short track (this one has studs in it) hooks up immediately in most any condition other than deep fluff (did get it stuck once in about 2 feet of snow, unpacked...). The fuel mileage is EXCELLENT (the engine is all stock, no mods done to it). I was able to go approximately 60-70 miles on roughly 3-4 gallons of fuel, so with the 12-gallon tank, I was able to reasonably expect a range of around 150 miles, though I never let it get below half when riding out in the wilderness areas. Steering is easy on this unit, though with 1000 cc's of power pushing this sled, it does tend to push through corners a bit, but if you're an experienced rider you quickly learn to adjust for this by being lighter on the throttle around the bends, and once the sled is steering into the turn, squeezing the throttle again propels you at blazing speeds around any corner. Very nice sled

I have been riding for 30 + years and have owned every brand and type. Current have 8 sleds in my arsenal. This is by far the fastest and most comfortable sled I have ever had the pleasure of riding. Ditch the stock pipe and let it breath. Put a nice Bikeman secondary on it and its a Cadillac with a... rocketship motor. Read Full Review
