2016 Ski-Doo Grand Touring LE 900 ACE

Glad to be back

My wife and I have been away from the sport for over 20 plus years so when purchasing our sled we decided a Touring model was what we wanted to get our feet wet with. Our choice was Skidoos Grand Touring LE 900 ace and it has not disappointed.



We love the styling and how it fits us ,I am 6 foot 2...50 and she is a lot smaller and there is plenty of room. The way the sled is laid out is excellent except for the eco/standard/sport mode switch, for me it is hidden to far up under the bars and difficult to find sometimes especially at night, it should also be lit up for night time riding.

Suspension and handling have come along way since the horse and buggy snowmobiles that we used to ride , the ease of adjustment and the ride and very little effort put into the steering is incredible compared to the 88 Plus that I owned. Ergonomics are great and easy to use.

Now the ACE900 is exceptional , the performance was a lot more than what I would have expected. Gas mileage is fantastic and for being only 90 hp it pulls pretty hard . ITC throttle is incredible as is its adjustability. No complaints with this machine...None Read Full Review

Skidoo "HOMERUN" 2016 Renegade Adrenaline Grand Touring 900-ACE

With the lack of snow in our region of New York all last year and so far this year, we had put no more than 20 miles on the sled. That was until this past weekend. We traveled up to the Tug Hill area into an awesome lake effect snow storm. While ithe was not a tremendous distance, in two days and... 10 hours of riding we put 150 miles in the books!

Comfort and ergonomics are unmatched when riding this machine. I could have kept going through the night if the Mrs wanted to. On the back, she was warm and comfortable as well. The hand and thumb warmers did the trick.

As far as the suspension, I can't believe how great the machine handled on the varming terrain and trails. Breaking trail in two feet of fresh snow was no problem at all and on the groomed trails switching from Stand Mode to Sport Mode was great and enough power and speed for anyone. The gas mileage was great and we used about 5.5 gallons of non-ethanol 91 octane for the weekend.

My last new sled was and air cooled Polaris 550 Super Sport back in 2001. After getting thE 900 ACE I am sold on this Skidoo. Kudos go out to the engineering and design team on this 4-Stroke beast.

Love this snowmobile

I have 6500 miles on my snowmobile mostly in northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. I use the 3 modes when I ride and like that option. I really like the adjustable backrest, adjustable air suspension and luxury features offered by Skidoo. I have been riding for around 30 years and have found this t...o be my favorite snowmobile. I usually get the best gas mileage in the group when riding, generally 20-22 mpg. The only service done has been oil change so far. Read Full Review
