2020 Ski-Doo Expedition® SE 600R E-TEC

Everything I expected and MORE!

I'm not saying that the Expedition SE is the best sled on the planet, but depending on your needs and uses, it just may be! When looking for a new sled I knew that I needed something that my wife would love for two-up riding, as well as something I could use for utility purposes, (accessing radio tr...ansmitters on snowy Wyoming mountaintops). I was a bit anxious about the etec 600, as there was no option for the etec 850...My anxiety subsided when I took it up to 74mph, fully loaded at 9000 ft! Other then my wife's Renegade Enduro, this is the most comfortable sled I've ever owned; the pushbutton rear suspension is plush and couldn't be easier to operate. It is hefty, with a claimed weight of 645, plus all of the gear in the 140L trunk...but even with my wife on the back, we floated through powder filled meadows. While I'm aware that this isn't designed as a "mountain sled", it goes! It is amazing how this thing climbs hills, and floats through powder, (7.4in skis, with a track 154x20, with 1.8 lugs). One of the issues we face with accessing radio transmitters is low and no snow areas, as well as iced over drifts...along with deep powder; especially in low range, the Expedition tackled everything!
