2009 Phazer MTX

I Like this sled,gas mileage is great,smooth ride,no oil added on every ride,tried it out for logging went r/t 120 miles w/out filling it up.



But needs clips on every hole for the track,2 wheels in the rear got ice build up and ate up the wheels-quick fix,need 1 1/2 tracks for trail and powder.

Performance-great,enough power to keep up w/ 600's,goes water skipping no problem,pulls a sled load of woods with out a doubt

Good but Not with my money.

I had a chance to ride one for a day in norther Idaho. To me this sled is aimed at some one who likes off trail riding, but is not interested in going crazy vertical. This would bring me to the fatal flaw. At some point off trail your going to side-hill, and play. The running boards are horrible esp...ecially in snow that packs. The radical styling lends snow to get on the boards in large piles.Then there is all most no getting it off. Read Full Review

Worst ever

We have several of these at my company, a ski resort. It is hands down the worst snowmobile I ever laid hands on. You develop wicked upper body strength as you need to use all your muscles to turn the skis and when you have turned them it STILL WONT STEER WELL. How is this possible?



You spend mo...st of your day digging and towing the thing as it will sink and get stuck everywhere, even prepared pists, getting into deep soft snow is doomed to fail and it will get stuck even on fairly hard snow as it will rest on the footsteps as soon as you move an inch of snow. Lifting it on your own is almost impossible and reversing is definetly impossible since it will only dig itself down. Not one single person in the entire company has anything good to say for this machine, it is simply a factory failure that should only be driven on straight well-prepared paths, it is not even a snowmobile since it can't be driven on snow.


As for competition driving on hard paths it may be OK, it hs decent oomph in the engine and is fairly stable. Still the most useless piece of machinery I have ever sat on, for my needs. And those needs are driving on surfaces where you would be unable to drive a car.



Also, if you happen to tip over oil will immediately run out of the system and into the air filter rendering it impossible to start again. A snowmoblie that cannot be driven once you have tipped over is nothing but a huge design failure. Read Full Review
