2011 Yamaha Phazer MTX

Bottom line this is a great ride for active riders looking to learn off trail/technical riding skills, explore the backcountry, and have tons of fun on a tight budget. These engines spool up fast and strong and sip fuel. The days of spare belts, plugs, and expensive mixing oil will be distant memori...es as you pile up the hours twisting through washouts, revenes and launching drifts. If you want to dominate the trails or mtns and can pony up the big bucks for a 150hp monster you will not be happy with the phazer...that being said, that 150hp monster eats 200 dollar belts,twice as much fuel and needs pistons at 4k miles. That's why the phazer is my top pic for backcountry riding. It goes all day on a tank of fuel, is very reliable and capable for a small sled. It doesn't nickel and dime me into poverty. I like it

I was out a few days ago on and off the trail with 4 friends who have skidoo’s from 2006 to 2017. While I am the first to recognize that a 2 stroke has lots more of a power band, I like my Phazer. All 4 of their sleds overheated. Mine just purred along. Everyone has their favourite make, but ...the Yamaha certainly has its place. Read Full Review

the yamaha phazer is a horrible sled i don't know why it would be ranked 6th for mountain sleds it is the worst snowmobile ever made 4 strokes are the gayest type of engine you can get for a sled why would the japanese make such a stupid sled for mountains i thought they were suppose to be smart in ...this sort of thing but i guess they were total idiots when it came to this i don't know who came up with the idea to make 4 stroke sleds they should go kill themself 4 strokes are only good for atv's and dirtbikes but i would still get a 2 stroke quad or dirtbike the phazer is probabaley the worst sled ever to be made screw this thing it can go die Read Full Review
