This sled is best utilized by the aggressive rider. It is super fun and a blast to ride. The rider forward seat is by far better than the competitors as it is narrow and it allows the rider to switch his/her weight from side to side very easily when having to lean into a turn or riding a ditch sid...e. With octane booster added to the tank, I've seen 141 km/h on the dash under immaculate groomed trail conditions. Getting to top speed is immediate and low end torque is snappy; allowing you to spin the back end out quite easily. Riding a 121 track, I would recommend riding a 4 inch carbide as there is a fair bit of darting and ski lift with anything higher. Split Rail Co. skis may be of benefit to this machine? Again, if ridden by an aggressive rider, my Phazer has easily held its own with any of the performance sleds from Skidoo or Polaris out on the trails! Although reverse is standard, it is frustrating that you some times have to 'rock' the machine backwards in order to get it to kick in. Do not buy the OEM optional bumper as it has a major design flaw and does not support the weight of the snow flap. Looks great, but is solely for show. Be prepared to find a welder if you buy one.
