I like my 300 tundra except a few things like throttle cable always icing up after being parked and the front suspension is very soft, unstable and non ajustable.I would like to know if there is an upgrade avalible or even a stablizer bar that i can get. Read Full Review

A drivers sled, not a rider's

I live in NWT Canada, and have owned the older version, the 270 electric reverse.This was the first BRP product I purchased brand new.



Positives

1.Great Suspension. lots of travel, good on hard pack and deep powder. the 1.25 lugged track adds a lot of traction in loose snow.

2.extra 30 cc of e...ngine,it doesn't seem like much but over the older 270 its huge
3.Aluminum frame, allows for extra track, suspension, and hp but doesn't even give up 1 pound from previous model
4. Stock hand warmers. a nice touch for us up in the arctic
5. Duel head lights. if one goes out, one will get ya home.
6. Bigger tank, extra 8 liters, or 2 gallons
7. Stock Hitch, and carrier, for the extra jerry or 2, its a nice big size.

Cons.
1. Its tippy, meaning that you have to throw your weight around when in uneven conditions. For any that can remember the Elan, think that sled, but with 2x the power and a lugged track, one knee on the seat kinda of sled. Its stable on even ground but could of used about another 6 to 8 inches of spred on the ski's. They really should of stuck the 2008 550f tundra/skandic front suspensions on it( by the way they do bolt up, I have a friend that did one and its a HUGE improvement)

Great Sled

This is the sled to have if you like to ice fish off the grid. I use it off-trail in Canada and it definitely holds its own. It can blaze the powder trail where few others dare to go. If you do get hung up, you just off, grab rear bar and throttle it forward until it climbs back up on top of the sno...w--its so light weight. It hauls a lot of gear on the rear tray. Read Full Review
