Better than most think!

The fusion 900, although it had it's fair share of issues, is an amazing piece of machinery. There were a few things that could be changed from the factory ( Skis, belt ) and it could use an SLP Hot Air Vent Kit. Overall though, I really don't think this sled should have been put under PERFORMANCE b...y the industry, more of a rough trail sled. The walker evans clickers allow the sled to be great in the ditches, as well as in the trails. These sleds are also capable of a good 114-115 stock, with an insane low end when you have hookup. The vibration is not like most have heard. It is MORE than tolerable, as it vibrates like any big twin does. It shakes much less than my ZR 800 did, and the vibration is pretty much eliminated after 1850rpms. Awesome Sled and a Great value

Is/was it perfect, nope, name a brand with a 100% success in a first model introduction. A few changes, all of which were available in after-market, or simple tech tips offered by the industry. This machine rips, handles with any machine on the market today. Get the SLP performance parts, Polaris... updates and follow the Team tips, and you will have a sled that will whip 99% of what is available today. For a price that is laughable. Under-Rated Performance sled

I love this sled because I can keep up if not WHIP larger sleds with ease. Quick throttle response, carves tight corners with no problem. When you're behind me- watch out for my ROOST when I hammer it! This thing pulls the skis with little effort. So comfortable to ride sitting or standing for lo...ng periods of time, love the customizable handlebar settings! Rider exertion is not an issue.. except for HOLDING the F- ON!! Warmest sled to ride as your feet are heated by the exhaust and the handgrips get hot quickly. Only downside is the maintenance has been more costly than the skidoos we own. Well worth it, in my opinion. As a woman I get a lot of looks from guys on the trail.. "No, this is NOT my man's sled- it's MINE!" LOL As for the vibration... no complaints here! like another reviewer said, after about 1850 rpm- it's pretty much gone.
