2010 Yamaha RS Venture GT

Great Snowmobile

As the usual passenger on this snowmobile, having tried a few before I can say that comfort wise the Venture GT 2010 is hard to beat, handle bars in the back don't get very hot, especially on those -25' days, but the comfort is great so it compesates. As the driver, there are a few things that are n...ot quite up to par, the noise from the long track while driving is very loud between 75-85km per hour. The handlebar and thumb heat controls are on the the same button which is a bit of a pain to control. The bench has a little less place than the 2009 model which gives the 2010 model a trunk. The driving and control of this snowmobile is wonderful, it stays on track and works great on and off trail. Great horsepower but it accelerates a little too quickly upon departure which sometimes makes it difficult the first few times to control, but while driving it has great guts and keeps up. The clutch is also geared differently which also makes noise when decelerating then accelerating quickly. Can easily keep up with other snowmobiles EI: Nitro, Apex ect cet. Also as the driver, the back rest (when alone) is great and can be brought right to the front which makes it quite comfortable. Overall I would give this snowmobile a 9 out of 10. 4 Stroke Heavan

I've tried all the available 4 stroke snowmobiles. Yamaha builds the best bar none. Best power, Best sound and so far the best realiability. This touring sled is beautiful. Fit and finish is automotive. The suspension adjusments are a tinkerers dream. Set it and forget it or play around to really di...al in your ride. The suspension also has top of the line shocks that would cost a couple of grand to upgrade onto any other sled regardless of manufacturer. Ride safe!!!!! Read Full Review

Best snowmobile ever for me

Just do 29 000 km on the yamie. I bring it to the dealer... Every thing is in very good shape... I own more then 10 snowmobile and this in the machine. DA Read Full Review
