		 The only problem I had with mine was the tremandous ICE build up in the tunnel until i put the kit to solve that problem $85 at a yammy dealer to close off the tunnel. no more ice

		Bought new Oct/06.  Had a few upgrades done on recall, all paid for by Yamaha.  Only one I was aware of was ice buildup on the sled due to open tunnel and snow melting on the exhaust, then freezing onto the machine, 40 or 50 pounds of ice after a powder run.  Side panels installed over tunnel helped<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">, but still a problem.  New Phazers have a plate over the tunnel that keeps the heat away from the snow being kicked up by the track.  I have 5000 km on the sled.  Change the oil and filter, lube, each season, like a car.  Totally trouble free so far.  Great reliability, starts easily, 200 km on a  30 litre tank. ( about 20 mpg Canadian, 17 U.S.)<br />
Did a 400 km (250 mile)run one day and my back felt fine, unlike other machines I have owned; rider fwd and superb suspension are wonderful innovations. Bought new Oct/06. Had a few upgrades done on recall, all paid for by Yamaha. Only one I was aware of was ice buildup on the sled due to open tunnel and snow melting on the exhaust, then freezing onto the machine, 40 or 50 pounds of ice after a powder run.
