The 2014-15 USXC season is officially over with the conclusion of the Seven Clans Casino Warroad 100.

Zach Herfindahl and his ZR put on a cross country clinic as he showed the competitors he is the man to beat. Zach not only won the Pro Stock final, he ran off and left them. Aaron Christensen came down from Canada and placed second in Pro Stock and Pro Open on his Polaris AXYS and was the only driver to seriously challenge Herfindahl. Wes Selby topped off an incredible season with a third place finish in Pro Stock and Pro Open.

The Arctic Cat duo of Herfindahl and Selby have established themselves as the team to beat. The Yamaha team of Re Wadena and Matt Piche have had a very competitive season, coming close to winning a number of times, with Piche taking a hard earned second at the Thief River Falls Seven Clans 300 and a fourth in Pro Open at Warroad.

In Semi Pro, Ryan Trout proved to be the top class of the field, running a smart fast race without once leaving his machine. Taylor Bunke of the famed Bunke Polaris team finished third and capped off a terrific season. Taylor won Semi Pro at the Thief River Falls Seven Clans event a week ago. Timmy Kallock ran a tough race and won Semi Pro Improved on a fast well prepared Arctic Cat ZR. He has been knocking on the door all winter with a number of top five finishes.

The Ski Doo camp was well represented by Nick Roehl who placed second in the I-500 class along with perennial hard charger Jim Sobeck winning Masters 50. Savannah Landrus showed up and ran an extremely fast Junior Girls race with a time that would have won the Junior Boys class also. It looks like she will be very competitive in the Pro Women’s class next year.
