    2014 Arctic Cat ZR 6000 R Sno Pro

    Arctic Cat unveiled its 2014 racing snowmobiles at the recent Hay Days event in Minnesota. The 2014 ZR 6000 R Sno Pro is available in two iterations – Snocross and Cross Country.

    As you might expect, the two sleds are very similar. Both feature a carbureted, two-stroke, liquid cooled, 599cc engine and rely on an Arctic rpm sensing drive clutch and Team driven driven clutch.

      2014 Arctic Cat ZR 6000 Sno Pro RR

      Arctic Cat has added a second model to its consumer race replica family at the recent Hay Days event in Minnesota – the 2014 ZR 6000 Sno Pro RR. You can read about the 2014 ZR 8000 RR, Cat’s other race replica, here.

      Powering the ZR 6000 Sno Pro RR is Arctic Cat’s own C-TEC2 599cc two-stroke engine, which we first saw in the ZR 6000 El Tigre. According to Arctic Cat, the C-TEC2 boasts an array of component specs proven during two seasons of championship-winning success in snocross and cross-country racing.

        The rumors of an 800cc-powered Polaris Rush are true. As one Polaris staffer remarked during the introduction of the new 2011 800 Rush Pro-R, “You want to be pointed in the right direction when you grab a handful of 800 throttle!”

          Where would we be without YouTube? The world’s favorite Internet video portal is a great place to watch a variety of snowmobile action, including highlights from the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series event in Sandy, Utah on Jan. 9.

          We’ve actually got two videos for you. The first looks professionally done and features great snocross action from Rio Tinto Stadium. Besides confusing Polaris racer Ross Martin with Team Arctic’s Tucker Hibbert, it’s quality stuff. The footage is quite good and clearly comes from a trackside camera. Check it out after the jump.
